The DPU-2000 operates in areas that defeat typical analog tape units, even in industry storerooms, or grease-filled workshops. The DPU-2000 is housed in a durable plastic case and can be installed anywhere.
Using a proprietary method of production and playback, the DPU-2000 offers the "truest sound at the source". The entire process from voicing to production to playback the DPU-2000 uses digital technology. There are no analog steps in the process, and no analog tapes are ever used.
Info-Chip boasts a full digital production studio, with a staff of professional voice talent, scriptwriters and recording engineers. This allows Info-Chip to maintain control of every facet of the customers production.
Unique Design
The DPU-2000 system uses a unique cartridge system, similar to those used in video games. Productions can be up to 23 minutes in length, and there is no need to ever purchase another DPU-2000 system if you need a longer production. All the memory for the production is contained in within the cartridge. If you need a 12 minute production instead of the standard 3 minute one, no problem the DPU-2000 handels that with ease. The memory is non-volatile, no worries if the power goes out, your production will be playing again immediatley upon power-up.
Unique Volume Control
The volume is controlled digitaly, no dials or knobs to break. The DPU-2000 has three "coarse" volume settings (low, regular, and high) plus there are seven "fine tunning" volume steps within each of these levels. This volume adjustment system makes the DPU-2000 compatible with virtually every phone system on the market.
