Job Description
Applicants MUST possess knowledge of telephone systems, voicemail, caller-id, lines and extensions, configuration and compatibility of products from Nortel Networks, NEC, Panasonic, Mitel, Toshiba, Vodavi, and more. Sufficient knowledge on T-1's, broadband, POTS, and Voicemail is required. Your responsibilities would include handling inbound sales calls, preparing sales quotations for telephone systems and maintenance contracts, and coordinate with subcontractors for phone system installations and service on the customer's behalf. You will earn commission based on sales of telephone systems. Previous sales experience is a plus but not necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 1 to 3 years experience.
Associates Degree or higher.
Prior experience in scheduling, contacting & calling on customers.
Coordinating with subcrontractors for installation and service.
Must be able to work well with others, be a self-starter, take direction well from others and have the ability to manage others.
Possess great communication skills, both written and oral.
Professional demeanor & customer service oriented.

Telephone System Technician

Salary/Wage: 18.00 - 22.00 USD /hour

Job Description
Applicants MUST possess installation and programming knowledge of KEY and PBX TELEPHONE SYSTEMS as well as their associated VOICE MAIL SYSTEMS including but not limited to: AVAYA, LUCENT, TOSHIBA, MERIDIAN, PANASONIC, and with emphasis on NORSTAR and BCM.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 4 years experience on any or all of the above systems.
Associates Degree or higher.
Technical education beneficial.
Prior experience in scheduling, contacting & calling on customers.
Experience in preparing for installation by performing pre-field evaluations, developing a job plan, building telco closets (mounting equipment racks/establish equipment locations), running cable (cat3, cat5, and cat6) and termination.
Must be able to work well with others, be a self-starter, take direction well from others and have the ability to manage others.
Possess great communication skills, both written and oral.
Professional demeanor & customer service oriented.

Must have a clean driving record.
